David Epaud advises SIA on its recognition by the ITU
David Epaud, a partner with Pamina Avocats, has advised the Secure Identity Alliance on its transformation as a Belgian non-profit association, followed by its recognition by the International Telecommunication Union, which was announced this week.
David has accompanied the Secure Identity Alliance, a plat-form of exchange between public and private stakeholders of the secured identity and e-governement sector, since its founding in 2013 as a European economic interest grouping. The transformation and the ITU recognition this year mark the important work carried out since then to allow states and citizens to benefit from the full potential of new technologies, notably through the diffusion of good practices and the developement of the OSIA inter-operability open standard. The recognition by the ITU means that this organisation will now be able to reference the OSIA specifications.
